Three things worth knowing first

No Canadian payroll

Odoo does not run Canadian payroll

Odoo publishes payroll localizations for two dozen countries. The United States is one of them. Canada is absent, so there are no CRA source deductions, no T4s, and no Records of Employment out of the box.

Accounting is paid

The full Accounting app is not open source

Invoicing ships in the free Community edition. The full Accounting app is a separate module that is absent from the public repository, so a company running its books in Odoo is buying Enterprise.

Discount expires

The advertised price is a first-year price

Odoo’s own footnote states the discount is valid for 12 months, for initial users ordered. Year two costs more, and seats added later are priced separately.
